ECity!
Weekend Tales.
I have a short smile while typing this. The title gives that blush.
Love you Ecity!(Electronic City, Bengaluru.). You are my favourite GoodBye!
For me, it's a land of freedom. Bengaluru was never new for me as I spent most of my childhood summer vacations here with cousins. But living in Electronic city all by myself independently is definitely a new feeling. Ah, I said independently to sound right but that wasn’t the case — This girl was so dependent and very hard to deal with, I tell you.
Down the line Dec 7th, 2016 is when I stepped here — bewildered; with a feeling of not knowing what to do, how to do.. and many more questions popping. Lucky me got the best family and friends support morally. Fast forward today i.e Mar 13th, 2022 seeing myself yet the same with tinny-tiny upgrades. Lol.
This weekend is the last free weekend at Electronic city before we move to another place within the city. Spent my Saturday all by sleeping; so I decided to soak in all the goodness it has today (Sunday). Almost half a day slept again. :P
Sunday evenings be like, the pleasant sunsets witnessed, the introverted side of me always chose to stay at home during weekends and the pandemic felt a boon until I realised going out is a necessary pleasure. So, this year one of my resolutions is to step out often to kill the social anxiety in me. Otherwise, the sun and the clouds (SKY) did their best to be my entertainers. Feels they peep into my room to check after.
Sunday sunsets are love, you see today’s view below.
My place has the best path to walk to my former workplace, and the giant corporate spaces all around.
Looks amazing on a rainy day.
It has the best roads to take a walk. Self-talks and dearly talks were very intense here. When I return back a few days later — these pavements and the ambience felt home. I would feel the warmth of birds reaching its nest.
I’ve seen empty spaces grow in big buildings and pretty lands very quick.
The flyover and the rides. I can’t explain, it has my heart. Buses over Flyover are saviours to skip all the traffic, which feels like bus drivers seemed hanumans; taking off and landing us in a blink of an eye. The elevated expressway is 10km long by the way — the longest in Bengaluru, 2nd longest in the entire country. It has a beautiful night view with night lights all over. Not to miss the D-mart, goto for all in all.
Captured the images today during our walk, except the one on a rainy day. Recollected memos from the streets; with kritunga’s biriyani, Sunday was a good day.
Thanks to all who walked by my side on these roads. LOVE!
Happy Monday.
P.s: I’ve focused on the best, this place is far far away from the centre city; now you know!
Pleasure,
Thejaswi.
