Hyderabad Diaries — Get Set Go!

Long weekend tales.

It's Thursday night at 8:00 PM, visited the dental hospital for my mom's checkup. While I waited for her treatment, I fainted in the hospital right after mom’s treatment. The doctor did the first aid and I was okay. The bus to Hyderabad is at 10:30 PM and I am not sure if I can make it to the trip, if mom would allow me and so on.. just a train of overthinker thoughts. As per the doc’s suggestion, I am allowed to go but have good food before I start the journey.

Like the flying soap bubbles, there were questions flying — asking myself if the trip is worth it with many other inhibitions I had. I also don’t want to step back because travel fares are paid already, deep down I don't wanna miss. Sisters, mom and bro gave me a warm send-off in drizzled weather. Joyous outside, yet cluttered inside.

Perfect weather for a solo take-off, If I may say so!

The bus arrived and I stepped in, next to me I see a cute little girl with her mom and dad smiling wide towards me — that very instant I felt am all set for the trip.

This is her morning face! ❤

To clear my head, I did try something new called ANT therapy. If you are an overthinker like me you should try it. Google it or let me know if you like to know more about how it helped me. Coming back, it was a miraculous technique; I geared to write on paper and boom! It worked!

Grow through what you go through.
Your thoughts create your reality. :)

Since my stop is the last one, I gotta have a good night’s sleep. Winded off and slept with the excitement of waking up and saying Good Morning Hyderabad! My face hits the morning light and I hear of places like — Lakadikapool, Madhapur, Hi-Tech city…. Mostly heard them on television so far. Dropped by KPHB and walked for 200 mts to reach our stay.

Morning newspapers, milk vans, sweepers cleaning roads while Hyderabad was getting ready for a new day; I am excited for a new day at a new place. Reached my travel partners at the stay, after a quick fresh up we are heading to have yum breakfast delicacies. We stopped by a restaurant called Kanchukota, with a calming streetside ambience to treat our taste buds. And it wasn’t disappointing and met our expectations.

Puri Chicken, Idli Podi, Ghee Karam Dosa! ❤

Morning with a good breakie is a Goooood Morning. While being back to the stay we roamed the streets of kukatpally with our morning faces.

Good Morning smiles! :)

All I wanna say here in this blog is to take that trip that you always wanted and you will never regret. Look at ANT therapy if planning and going on trips keep you overwhelmed, it can help you. Give it a try, if you are interested in knowing how it worked for me — I’ll be happy to share, let me know!

P.S: More on how we spent our long weekend in the next blogs. Stay tuned!

High on Hyderabad,
Thejaswi
